일반에 첫 공개되는 미켈란젤로의 ‘비밀의 방’

일반 공개를 보름여 앞둔 지난달 31일(현지시간) 이탈리아 피렌체 산로렌초 대성당 내 메디치 예배당 지하 벽면에 르네상스를 대표하는 예술가 미켈란젤로가 남긴 스케치가 보인다. 이 공간은 미켈란젤로가 당시 교황의 노여움을 사 숨어 지냈던 곳으로, 옷장 아래에 입구가 숨겨져 있어 1975년이 돼서야 발견됐고 이번달 15일부터 내년 3월까지 소규모 방문객에게 제한적으로 공개된다.
